Mike,
In an odd way this is cheering news! One other thing about the CC paper - just found another email - is that McKittrick says it is standard practice in Econometrics journals to give all the data and codes !! According to legal advice IPR overrides this.
Cheers
Phil
More on the late John Daly here.
UPDATE: The Silly's wanker in residence, Elizabeth Farrelly, is another warmist who gets excited by the death thing:
Last week, after my cane toads column, several Queenslanders wrote in to say they hadn't actually seen serious toad numbers for some time. Something, they inferred, is killing them off.
Maybe it's the same with shock-jockery. We can only hope it happens before it irreparably harms our civilisation, as well as our climate
UPDATE II: Andrew Bolt has more of Farrelly's finest moments.
1. Miss Farrelly is a blonde; and she exercises herself in the part.
ReplyDelete2. 'Climate scientists' aspire to the role.
Cheers
Even the urbane, sophisticated, half mad Clive Hamilton couldn't hold a candle to Elizabeth Farrelly writer/architect(failed)
ReplyDeleteHer thought processes add whole new depths of resonance and meaning to the word 'deranged'.

Excerpt from above.
'Whether non-democracies such as China will negotiate the rapids of the coming century more adroitly remains to be seen. Certainly they have at least one freedom Western-style democracies do not have - the freedom to act decisively'
Oh! I see Elizabeth,we slipped up winning the second world war because the unbeatable combo' of Hitler and his blonde, super intelligent top 20% of the population would have taken the freedom to act decisively on our behalf to a whole new level.?
Yes,erm very good Elizabeth, but not 'quite' what we're looking for!
If shock jocks are cane toads, what the hell does that make the old bags that infest Fairfax newspapers and the ABC? Cockroach spp. Blattella germanica?
