Anyone tempted to regard Fairfax’s stock price – 75.5 cents as of trading’s close on Friday – as a buying opportunity might want to consider what sort of a company allows someone who does so little work to lecture those who do much more.

ReplyDeleteBack when I was a wee one, we called that workaholism "having a work ethic". And if our trade was such that we were paid proportional to our productivity, it made us bloody rich.
Perhaps the good Professor B could provide us with a running total not only of the current share price, but of how many shares are extant and consequently of the total price required for complete control. Just how much will Gina be out of pocket if she stumps up the lot up front?
