''I have absolutely no idea where any such documents might be, while noting of course that some or some parts of the documents referred to may have entered the public domain with the relevant WA statutory authority and the originals may of course still be with that authority,'' [Gordon] said.Baker probably did not need to be told to go fossicking in the West, but it was certainly nice of Gordon to steer him in that direction.

Go West Young Man
JUST PUBLISHED by Mark Baker of The Age, a paper whose reputation he is trying valiantly to restore, is news that Peter Gordon has not kept a personal copy of his former law firm's missing Gillard File. No surprise there. What is worth noting comes late in the report (emphasis added):
Prof - It is understandable that Gordon does not have Gillard's letter, and his comment about it's possible whereabouts in WA suggest that he would be happy to see it found. Might one of your readers who is also a member of the Western Bulldogs report on the interaction between Gordon and Gillard when she turns up to a Bulldogs game? Should be fun to observe. (Assuming of course that she's not under some charge by then; the matter of her signing the POA as a witness might be disturbing the state of her mind.)
ReplyDeleteI doubt you will be seeing Gingerella at any Bulldogs games. Peter Gordon's first item of business needs to be going back to calling the club FOOTSCRAY. www.fnwb.com.au
DeleteWell, at least he can do something right .....
DeleteLooks like Miss O'Gyny just found another target for her bile.
ReplyDeleteMmmm. Some months ago there was a small piece in the paper here (Perth) about an ex-union official who claimed to have documentation from the Gillard/Wilson activities stored securely in a Lock And Leave facility...Baker should follow that up.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Sydney-sider, but a simple look at a map indicates that telling a Melbournite to 'Go West' could be seriously detrimental to his ability to keep his feet dry and keep breathing.
ReplyDeleteWhy should that be considered a problem?
DeleteCheers
