It's A Norwegian Thing

AS The Age would have captioned it:

Athletes display the symbol of right-wing hate at the 1968 Mexico Olympics.

  1. One thing is for sure.
A solemn execution of the Breivik salute on the tram accompanied by a mad stare gets one a seat all to oneself.

  2. What do Barack Obama and Anders Breivik have in common?

The Left gets really annoyed when you don't know they're Christian.

    1. What is the difference? One’s a divisive, arrogant, narcissistic, racist moron and the other is Norwegian.

    Top spot.

Its just Robert Downey Jr refusing to get out of character [Tropic Thunder]. I'm not going to live long enough to learn Black English. Someone's got to write the book:
Sacred Secularism and the Holiest Cows of the Fractured Mind.

  5. Nice one PrickwithaFork. I reckon it's appalling seeing Brevik - he's all over the front page of the SMH online. It's as bad as seeing Julian Knight, Martin Bryant or Ivan Milat. Nutbag murdering scum should not be publicised. What on earth is the SMH thinking? ... Riight, PrickwithaFork's observation is 100% on the money.

I'll bet the clenched fist was used from way back, as a battle gee-up plus a gladiatorial challenge or expression of triumph. It's a fairly natural human gesture.

Breivik is a complete and classic narcissist, a sad but intelligent loner obsessed with himself and his own opinions. He found his own self-damaging 'solution': hence his tears on reviewing his oeuvre. I pity him, a failed human being, but I pity his victims far more, and their families in their dreadful grief . He should be quietly trialled and put away to learn less of hatred.

I do not support capital punishment (a personal stance), although I can see why many people do.

    1. Lizzie, even Bunyips have been known to raise the clenched fist -- usually when the Bulldogs score. The right arm might as well have spent this season's first three games in a sling.

    2. I sincerely hope some one goes all Jack Ruby on his pasty, white arse.

That is the only thing that should be televised about the trial.

Here we are Prof, living in the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind [Jim Carey, and loved it]

In a day reaching for Big Ideas - big, bigger, best in fact - I wanted to rush through to the credits.

My answer to Scientism, Secularism, Darwinism:-

Show me the physical evidence that the language system that you use to arrange rhetorical thought patterns in your mind is not itself metaphysical in origin?

The most cleverly evasive answer will be wrong.

In Jim Carey's role as Joel the "sunshine" wins. Jesus is who He said He is: Word of God, Creator.

I'll call you on that one, PWAF. Breivik called himself a 'cultural christian' as in one who recognises the foundations laid down in Western Civ by the Church, and not as a 'religious christian' who believes in the Lord Jesus as his divine Saviour.

Obama spends years in a 'church' people by Black Liberation race-mongers and only trots out the christianity thing when it suits him.

By their fruits shall ye know them. Neither fit the description of a christian as one who believes in and accepts Jesus as the Son of God who died for our sins.

  11. Has everyone forgotten the bolshevik salute of the clenched fist? Groups of marchers used to give it during Ulyanovs parades ,the arm wasn't raised as high but the fist WAS clenched ,just as that Norwegian Fascists'swas! Birds of a feather , fellow Fascists?,

  12. What is being played out in a courtroom in Denmark is the end result of the promotion of hatespeech, something evident daily on the blogs hosted by the likes of Bolt and Blair. They're both cheeks of the same arse.
At least on this blog (where it's tolerated, if not promoted), it's for fun rather than profit.
    It's all the one continuum.
