Not quite Woodward and Bernstein

Evidently aware that this morning's ACTU-dixctated expose of sexist discrimination in the workplace was but more of the ho-hum whining feminist same, the Fairfax press has decided to add a new element to the coverage by arranging catchy combinations of bylines.

Today's scoop is the work of Marnie Banger and Griff Tapper

  1. A few years back I undertook a review that looked at remuneration differences between genders in a very large organisation.

We found no evidence whatever of gender disadvantage in situations where men and women were doing the same work over the same number of hours.

Men, however, had an overall total remuneration edge largely because they predominated in occupations - technical and trades - that, unlike most white collar jobs these days - involved overtime and penalty rates.

So if Labor propaganda is true - that the Coalition will abolish overtime and penalty rates - it would be a great step toward achieving true gender equality in remuneration!

  2. There's a .pdf online titled "Avila Old Collegians" that names one Marnie Banger as School Captain in 2010. Nice work Fairfax, not only will you lecture to your readers, but you have children doing the lecturing.
